The Sotheron Arms (affectionately known as 'Heppys') has been in the Heppenstall/Wimsey family for over 100 years, with Jason's Nana Margaret and Grandad Ralph running it originally. Heppy's has seen a lot of changes over the past ten years; completely refurbished toilets and back lounge room, a new bar design and biggest of all the brand new function room 'The Stables'.
Heppy's serves a variety of popular brand name beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks as well as local brewed ale from Sam Smiths (Sovereign and Old Brewery). With our extensive range of drinks you should find something to suit your taste, then sit back, relax and enjoy it in one of the three rooms; Lounge, 'Snug' and The Bar (which is adults only).
During the summer we boast a huge beer garden (one of the biggest in the area) with a childrens play area and plenty of seating for you to sit back, soak up the sun (when we get some) and enjoy a relaxing drink. As for winter, we offer a very warm, cosy and welcoming environment in the pub.
